The offical English Godzilla YouTube page been uploading episodes of Godzilla Island with English closed captioning. I heard of the series for a while but for the longest time, there was no way to watch it. Also there's no subtitles. All we had was read brief summaries of the show and look up brief profiles of new original characters. The only clip on YouTube was a short scene where everyone on Monster Island is hypnotized into dancing, no really.
The show aired in the late 90s to advertise toys by showing, well toys duking it out. All the episodes are three minutes long, that includes the intros and ending, making it really a minute and half of footage.
So far there's only like 24 episodes as I'm writing this. So far, the main highlight is Godzilla is framed for a crime, so he goes to trial, while wearing kaiju-sized handcuffs gets questioned and Godzilla admits he got high eating Mantango mushrooms. Let this all sink in.
There're other shows on the channel. Chili Godzilla strikes back is very funny.
Chibi Godzilla is way too brief and forgettable. It like 20 second episodes.
