The joke is that these 2 opposites end up together but they end up kissing for a long time. The fact they let the camera keep rolling for a while means that they did this on purpose and knew this be yucky to the viewers.

This is the worse commercial of all time. All the others were trying to be cute, annoying, creepy or a mix of all the above. This guy is crossdressing for no good reason. I don't see the joke or punchline.
When I see a guy crossdress in media, it's meant to be funny for a joke or funny scene. In FF7, we laugh at Cloud because is force to dress like a girl to rescue his friend and you can easily tell he doesn't like it.
In the movie, Blast from the Past. There's a funny scene after a few decades living in a fallout shelter where Christopher Walken thinks his town got nuked back in the day. He meets one of the people on the surface.
Anyways, This is how you do a crossdressing joke. Not just randomly putting on girl's clothes and make up.
