Jurassic Park II: The Chaos Continues LP Part 11: To Catch a Spy

Soon as the mission starts, this spy starts hightailing it.

You can't kill or catch him. The only way to "catch" him is to reach the end of the stage.

It's weird that our paleontologist was reading his mission when his objective is right in front of him. Are you sure this is an actual Biosyn spy and not a buddy of Grant's that simply playing chase?

You can shoot through the block if you press right and fire at the same time. It goes through half the time. It's a helpful glitch to abused.


One thing for sure here is there are a ton of ammo pick ups. I didn't waste time on using the unlimited weak ammo. I used the auto machine gun and then went to shotgun on the first ammo pack I saw.

I said in earlier parts of this LP that you can't drop down from a vine. Well it turns out you can. Press down and jump at the same time to get that ammo.

Shoot 4 or 5 shotgun blasts and one of the three bullets will hit his head. Glad I kept my distance.

There is a ton of health packs in this level, not as many as ammo ones.

At one point after jumping over a down wire, a pyro comes out of nowhere and burn you to 0 HP. The best course is to immediately squat and fire away. Do it too late, he be too close and burn at a diagonal line.

At several times, you see the spy for a second before he hightail it.

I hope he's not stuck in that area.

Time is running short, better grab that health.

Using the glitch to shoot through is very helpful indeed.

Good gosh. Two rocket users. Taking out one is fine as long you squat real quick but the other is offscreen and I have to get closer and avoid his blast till he appears where I can kill him.

Ahh, I can't kill him from here. I'm dead.

The best thing to do is don't climb across yet. Kill the pyro when he appears on the edge of the screen, then go across.

Ran out of time, time to redo the thing.

Would you stop running, I'm tired of restarting this level because of you.


There is one section where it's nothing but filler. No gunners, bombers, pryos, chompies, blocks, wires, nothing. You just run straight for a few seconds.

IT'S A TRAP!!! Soon you see both the ammo and health, this dude appears.

Maybe I catch up to him and...*he runs off* Oh great. *Game over screen appears*

Well I have to redo the entire level again. I came with strategies to make it through. Don't kill chompies(unless it's the two that's guarding the health.) Chompies are easy to jump over and ignore. If you can't kill Biosyn agents right away, quickly pass them. The bombers are harder to pass but it is possible. I had to skip some of them to make it through. The two things that you should kill is the pyros and the rocket men(please tell me that you readers are going not going to sing it).


Yes, I finally got to the end point.
