One last main mission left.
The gallimimus are those stampeding dinos that nearly ran over Alan and the kids in the 1st movie. They were saved by Vince Vaughn in the Lost World and one of the many places used as a tourist place in Jurassic World.
Mission starts with Alan near with those dinos down
The 1st enemy is the scientist and this is the only time you see him throughout the level.
You can shoot these or hop over them. I think it's easier to hop.
With so much ammo in this level and alot enemies, I focus on using the auto-machine gun throughout the level. It mowed down enemies quickly before they fired enough to where my health is too low to continue.
(I had to redo the level several times, so my gun being was in unlimited mode during my 1st few attempts in the screen caps below)
Are you kidding me!?
Sometimes, it's easier to not shoot everything left and right and just ran and shoot what's in front of you. You may out run the ones on the left when you find a rock in the path you can hop over.
We got holes that enemies like to stand in. You have to squat down to shoot them or jump in real quick and fire.
Time to hop over these things.
Like the blue drums, enemies like to stand on these.
I know in the past I said grenadiers are easy but not on linear levels. Back then, it was easy to shoot them from below. Here, it's a little harder to avoid.
Oh come on. I can't shoot between the bars? *Sighs* Video game logic at it's best.
Jump over those little bumps because those are landmines. Your #1 fan/ Mr.X/ Deepthroat(Seriously Kojima), they ain't here to warn you about them.
I like I can glitch my bullets through the rocks because I hate to lose my life before I get to that health.
Next is a playable cutscene. You can't progress forward till you stop watching the background finish it's scene.
As soon as that background cutscene ends, the helicopter appears on top of Alan, dropping bombs.
Run away and hopped over before you lose health.
So those holes we been seeing are his bombs attack.
After his bombs hit the ground, you can now progress. It is cool scene that foreshadows what's to come at the end of the level.
There are some holes that are near landmines. You can fire away and may take out one or two ahead.
I had to used shotgun to take this guy out. Walk away, he bombs you or he's offscreen and can't hit him. Jump up, bomb hits you. You could do a light jump and land in front of him and fire but it is trickly to pull off. You see why I said the linear levels make these bombers hard enemies.
At the very end, you see health and two packs of ammo. Feel free to switch to shotgun because that's more than enough to take care of the boss.
That chopper we saw back then, well it's the boss of this level.
It has three attacks, swing the cage at you, fire a few bullets, and drop bombs. It does the bomb attack separate when it flies offscreen and then resume with the cage and bullets.
Duck when the cage comes close.
After firing on the cage for a while, it drops down.
The cage helps grant immunity to the bomb attacks
Kid you not, the chopper goes down quicker than the cage itself. It got destroyed by a few shotgun blasts? Was that made of paper or something?
