TMNT allies from Mirage comics

The Ninja Turtles been around for several decades with comics, shows, movies, and games. While they are a 4-man team, they did had help over the years.

Here is a list of TMNT allies over the years. I be mentioning the ones introduce in the old black and comics 1st.

I made funny.
This is Splinter, he is the Turtles' ninja sensei. He is also a caring father of the four. He is the old wise type teacher of character that often gives helpful advise to the turtles. In some versions, he is a human known as Hamato Yoshi who got mutated into a rat. In other versions, he is Hamato Yoshi's pet rat that flee into the sewers after witnessing Shredder killing Yoshi. Splinter later get mutated to a human-size rat. His favorite hobby is watching Soap Operas.

Fun Fact: In the 1st issue of the Mirage comics, Splinter train the Turtles to be his personal hitman to assassinate the Shredder, not to help them prepare in the dangerous world. The later Mirage comics try to make Splinter closer to his other counterparts as a caring father.

What at story

April O'Neil is the Turtles 1st human ally. She helps the turtles out as they go out the surface world. She had several different jobs in the different versions. She was a reporter, owner of an antique shop, scientist, archaeologist, or a teenager in school.

The 1st cartoon, she was more of a comical damsel in distress. Later versions have her trained by Splinter. She had ninja skills and sometimes armed with a sword. In the 1st cartoon, she infamously known for wearing that yellow jumpsuit that doesn't look like a reporter outfit.

In her 1st appearance in the 03 series, she's infamously known for not exactly looking like a regular scientist. All her later appearances in the 03 series have her in regular outfits. She infamously known to have Megan Fox cast as her in the newer live-action movies, and to Mirage comic fans, she's infamous for having a dumb origin story.
Late in the Mirage comics run, April time travel back to the time of her birth in the form of a cockroach. She witness her father found a magic crystal and use on pencil and paper which led to April being born. That's right, April is a drawing that came to life. Pretty dumb origin and during her time as a cockroach, her roach instincts gave in and did stuff that cockroaches do. I leave that to your imagination.

Fun fact: April in the original comics wasn't a fair skin redhead. She had a darker skin tone with dark curly hair(tho she did got a perm early on, it was the 80s). She could be White, Black, Hispanic, or Mixed. Nobody wasn't quite sure of her race. The cartoon and later versions pretty much have her as a fair skin redhead. People complain that the tan-skinned, dark hair Megan Fox didn't look like April but ironically, she was the closest to the original April

Goongala!
Casey Jones is the other main human ally. He is a crime fighting vigilante that wears a hockey mask and equipped with sports gear as weapons. He's usual best buds with Raph since they're both hotheads and other similar things. He is usually April's main love interest. In the original cartoon, he was more of a recurring guest character than part of the main gang. He was more of an extreme comical crimefighter than a realistic man that's kinda clumsy that shown in other versions.

He was originally a parody of vigilantes at the time because they all have tragic backstories. Casey's origin in the old comics was he was inspired to fight crime after watching too many terrible cop shows.

In the middle of the comics, Casey quickly outgrew from being a parody. Casey accidentally killed a punk kid. This made him quit being the vigilante and became a huge drunk. He broke up April and drove across country. He later met a pregnant women called Gabriel and fell in love and got married. She died from childbirth a few months after. Casey took his new daughter and named her Shadow. He went to his mother's apartment in NYC and be the place's handyman. The mother then sold the apartment to new buyer, who happens to be April and the two got back together.

Alloys-y!

The Fugitoid is the Turtles helpful cyborg friend from the planet D'Hoonib. He was once a (Non-Earthling)Human called Professor Honeycutt. An accident happen where his brain was transfer to a robot. The name Fugitoid is a mix of fugitive and android. He's on the run from both the Federation and Tricertion Republic due his invention, a teleportion devise. They want it to be used to teleport nukes inside the center of the planet. Being a peaceful pacifist, Honeycutt told them no.

He's in the new Nickelodeon cartoon and voiced by David Tennant/10th Doctor. Alloys-y!

Utroms are a race of aliens. A group of them crashed on the planet Earth long ago and were stranded. They disguise themselves as humans and own the TCRI building. They are the makers of the mutagen in half the versions of TMNT. The Turtles raided their base to learn the secrets of their origin and to find the missing Splinter at the time. After learning they weren't bad guys, the Utroms forgive the Turtles for raiding their building and finally went back to their home planet. They came back late in the comics run and made 1st contact with Earth.

In the 2003 series, an Utrom criminal named Ch'rell was responsible for crashing the Utrom ship. He later took the identity of the Shredder.

Krang was loosely based on these guys. Krang was a evil warlord that lost his body rather than part of an alien species that look like brains.

Secert of the Ooze was going to have a plot twist that Professor Perry was an Utrom. Since Krang is a major villain from a popular cartoon rather than a group of aliens from an indie comic, the audience can easily get it mixed up and the plot twist was scrapped.

Well I say. I guarantee.

Some of you whose only familiar with the original cartoon be surprised Leatherhead is on the list of allies. That's because that version of Leatherhead is different from most of the other ones. In certain versions, Leatherhead is the only other mutant besides the Turtles.

He was a flushed down pet that ended up in the Utroms area and accidentally got mutated. He became friends with them but he miss his ride to the Utrom planet and was left behind. The departure was rushed due to police, and Tricertions attacking (or Utrom Shredder in 03 series).

His personality is that he is basically an overgrown muscular Don. He can build alot gadgets. He has this Jekyll/Hyde or Bruce Banner/Hulk thing. He can easily go into a berserk state.

In the Archie comics, he was a human called Jess Harley till he got cursed to his alligator state.

Renet is a Timestress apprentice. She has a ditz personality. She takes the Turtles through time and space with a magical scepter. Her arch-nemesis is Savanti Romero. Due to being a time traveler, she meets the Turtles out of chronological order. Meaning the turtles can meet a fully matured adult Renet one time and then back to a ditzy teen the next time they see her. Mikey has a huge crush on her in 2012 series.

Fun Fact: There was one adventure where she and the Turtles go to ancient Japan to combat Savanti Romero and a giant lizard creature. Yes, the 3rd live-action movie was very loosely based on this comic.

Radical is a Native-American woman with superpowers. Her nemesis is Complete Carnage who can phase through objects. She never made any appearances outside of the original comic. In the distance future, she and Leo were a couple.

I am the vengeance, I am the night, I am Nobody

Nobody is a crimefighter that was once a detective. He was fired from his job when he tried to investigate a man who secretly was an arms dealer. The arms dealer issued a complaint about this cop was harassing him. Nobody is basically TMNT's version of Batman.

In one universe, he got killed anticlimactically and then brought back to life decades later. In another, he became a member of the Justice Force.

The Justice Force is basically TMNT's version of Justice League. There two generations of them. Most of the 1st generation is in a retirement home. Half of them had encounters with the Turtles before the Justice Force was established in the show, like Silver Sentry(Superman basically) and Nano is who is now mature and not a trouble maker. Mikey crimefighting identity, Turtle Titan is an honorarily member.

In the original comics, after the death of the Shredder. The Foot was in a civil war and all of NYC was in a crossfire. Karai who is head of the Japanese branch of the Foot came to America and made a truce with the Turtles to help her restore order to the Foot and she promise the Foot's vendetta against the Turtles be gone. The Karai in the old comics was very different to her later versions. She was Shredder's equal and old enough to have a daughter.

In the later versions, she is the Shredder's adopted daughter as well as his 2nd-in-command. She is a character in conflict, struggling between her honor and her loyalty to her father. At times, she's the Turtles ally or their enemy.

TMNT had crossovers with several other properties like Batman, Ghostbusters, a dozen indie comics back in the 80s. However, they are either forgettable one-shots or non-canon.
The best well know crossover that happens in multiple versions of TMNT is Usagi Yojimbo. Usagi's comics is basically Feudal Japan with animals. The reasons he appeared in alot crossovers is because creators of TMNT and Usagi Yojimbo are friends.

Image comics had the rights to TMNT comics in the late 90s and it was a continuation of Vol.1 and 2. Savage Dragon is a cop in Chicago who hunts down bad guys. He and the Turtles join forces several times.

Horridus is a character from Savage Dragon series. She was Mikey girlfriend during TMNT's Image run.

TMNT Allies: Classic cartoon and Live-action

This is April's channel 6 news crew.  The guy in the pink shirt is Vernon who is currently played by Will Arnett . He's usually trying to hog away the glory from April. The overweight guy is Burne. He is April's boss. He's basically the TMNT version of J.Jonah Jameson, always thinking the Turtles are criminal scum. He's currently played by Whoopi Goldburg. Yes, they re-imagined him as a black woman. The woman in glasses is Irma and she's always dreaming about meeting the man of her dreams. She's currently voiced in the new cartoon by *Major spoilers ahead*, Gilbert Gottfried. She was secretly a Kraang spy disguise as April's friend.

The Neutrinos are like totally 80s dudes(more so than the Turtles) from Dimension X who ride on flying cars and hate war.

The Punk Frogs were regular frogs in Flordia swamps that were exposed to ooze. Shredder found them and plan to make them the Anti-TMNT. Since Splinter named the Turtles after his favorite renaissance artists, Shredder named the frogs after his "heroes", which is Napoleon, Attila, Genghis, and Rasputin. The Punk Frogs quickly learn Shredder was the bad guy and not the Turtles and switch sides.

Zach is a Turtle fanboy. He dressed up as a turtle and tries to help them. The Turtles call him an honorary 5th turtle. He wasn't well-beloved to the fans.

The Pulverizer in the new series is pretty much the same guy, except he comes across more of an annoyance  to the Turtles. Also he's at lease funny because he tries so hard to be cool but this untrained ninja falls flat in his face.

Mona Lisa is a human turned into lizard mutant. She's popular with the fanbase despite only appearing in one episode. She's basically set up as Raph's love interest. She's in the new series as an alien salamander whose enemies with the Triceratons. She and Raph like to do Eskimo kisses.

Mondo Gecko is like totally early 90s skateboarding dude. He is the Venus before Venus was (un)cool because he came from the same bowl as the turtles but got separated when a gangster pick him. Other versions have him a rocking singer or teen skateboarder turn mutant gecko. He's currently voiced by Mikey from the live-action movies.

Lotus Blossum is the Karai before Karai was cool. She even predated Karai's 1st appearance in the original comics. Lotus was hired by Krang to help him and plans like she replace the Shredder. Leo quickly went head over heels with her despite she's the enemy(alot like how Leo is to Karai in the 2012 series). She did join the good side in the end. She only appeared in two episodes.

Ace Duck is a fighter pilot turned mutant duck. His action figure was popular with the fans. He appeared very briefly on the Turtles' TV. He was in the Archie comics as an intergalactic wrestler.

Metalhead is the robot version of the Turtles. He was created by the bad guys to destroy the Turtles. Donnie reprograms him and he becomes a good guy. He briefly appeared in one more episode and it was a quick cameo. Donnie pulls him out to vacuum the sewer floor and that's it. In the new cartoon, he's Donnie's invention.

Interesting about Metalhead is there is similar characters whose not named Metalhead as well a different character with the same name.
The other Metalhead. He's a member of the Justice Force with moveable metal hair. He's in the old comics and 2003 series.

Mechaturtle was a boss character in the 1st NES game. He existed long before Metalhead.

Turtlebot was created by Baxter to stop the Turtles. He's also in the video games based on the 2003 series with a different origin. He was going to be in the Dreamwave comics with another origin but the series got cancelled. I don't think he's based on Metalhead, rather a similar concept. The 2003 series was trying to be like more of the Mirage comics and less of the original cartoon.

Muckman was a trashman who got mutated into a trash-like monster. He's usually with Joe Eyeball.

Mutagen Man was a mailman named Seymour Gutz(HA!) that fell in a pool of mutagen that turn him into a pile of guts in a jar full of mutagen. He did return to normal at the end of the episode. The 2012 version was far more darker. The Pulverizer try to be like the turtles, so he mutated himself. However, this causes him with his gruesome appearance. He hasn't return to normal and his mind has went berserk.

Kerma is a Turtleoid from the planet, Shell-Ri-La. He came to Earth and recruited the Turtles to help him on his "small" problem. These "small" problems are usually 2-headed dragons or a knockoff of the Terminator.

When the rumors the Turtles were going to be aliens in the 2014 movie, people act there's never been a entire planet of Turtles, actually there was. However that doesn't mean the Turtles have to radically change their origins.

Carter is a man who wanted to find Hamato Yoshi and study under him. He was surprised he is a rat. He joined very late in the series and became the 5th member of the team. There was a story arc where the Turtles mutation was going out of control and turn them into Hulk-like creatures every now and than. A sample of the ooze fell on Carter and he transforms into this mohawk chicken from time to time.

Now characters from live-action movies and tv show.
Danny Pennington is son of April's boss in the 1st movie. He was in the wrong crowd. He ran away from home and join the Foot. He gave away to Shredder he saw weird turtles at April's apartment. Feeling sorry how Shredder was beating up Splinter, Danny decided to change sides and help Splinter escape. At the end, he made up with his father.

Keno is a pizza delivery boy who ended up stuck in a middle of a fight between the Turtles and robbers. He became friends with the Turtles and help them find the Foot's new hideout.

Kenshin is a man from Feudal Japan that switch places with April when she traveled to Japan.

Mitsu was a woman who was in love with Kenshin. She helped the Turtles when they got stuck in Japan.

Whit is an English mercenary who works for the English trader, Walker. He was imprisoned with April. When the Jailbreak happen, he helped her and the Turtles out. He betrayed them and took the time specter to Walker. He changed his mind again and killed Walker in the end.

He is Casey Jones' ancestor and played by the same actor.

This is Venus. She's from the infamous short lived show, The Next Mutation. She is not loved by fans.

She came from the same jar as the other turtles but she got separate from the others and was raised by a Chinese man. She is the last Shinobi which is a person with magical powers. However in the real world, Shinobi is the same as Ninja and the show act like it's a separate thing. She quickly defeated the Shredder within her 1st encounter with him. Only in the live-action show states that the Turtles are not blood related only just so the show can pair her up with one of the Turtles.

One of the creators of TMNT hates her so much, she is never brought up at all. Even if you are making fun of her, you can't talk about her.Having a girl turtles destroys the Turtles uniqueness because they are the last of their kind. In the TMNT multiversal crossover, Turtles Forever, of all the universes shown, Next Mutation was missing when all the Turtle universes were shown.

The Two Apartments: Behind the scenes, facts, and deleted material.

If you haven't read the story, click here.

Well it took me several years to write a sequel to the 1st chapter of the Copper Ring saga but I finally continued.

I did had plans and ideas over the years of the 2nd chapter whenever I did get back on Copper Ring saga.

The gang was suppose to split up at where routes 79 and 49 meet up when I wrote the 1st draft. That seems a random location to write and I doubt most people know where it is. It's been so long since I wrote the 1st draft, I wasn't sure what "Rohan" was intended. It's possible that "Rohan" was meant to be West Memphis since it's the biggest city on that side of Arkansas. I think when I wrote the 1st draft, I just pulled random major Arkansas cities and made them locations of the story. As I was writing my story for my blog, I try to make more of a path towards Petit Jean or any other major location instead of going random places in Arkansas.

"Rohan" was always intended to be a ranch. With Petit Jean Mountain, Conway, and Russellville are the major locations of the story that was established in the 1st chapter, it be obvious to put the Ranch somewhere in central Arkansas.

Look up on youtube, "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard", if you wonder why Pretty Boy was singing.

I try for nearly a half an hour of what the Neo-Red Coats and Evil Cave Dwellers were fighting about. . I wonder if I should make a Kirk vs Picard argument. I already made a Mario vs Sonic joke in the Lonokean Empire saga.

I never did figure out a title for the 2nd chapter of the Copper Ring saga till recently. I thought be funny the most deadly forces in Arkansas are living in cheap apartments

The "Ents" were always planned to be tree hugging hippies.

Some of you who read the story in the 1st few hours that the story was posted saw Gardener gave Kind Boy a can of Coke-Cola Vanilla. I had to change it to a Pepsi Twist real quick because I misread that Coke-Cola Vanilla was a discontinued drink. It was but reintroduced later and still in shelfs. Since the story takes place back then, might as well thrown some references to that era.

"Arwen" didn't exist at all and I had no intention of writing romance scenes. I quickly wrote her as I was getting ready to post my story. I thought be kinda funny to make a scene of the Cowgirl getting green-eyed

In the 1st draft of the 1st chapter, "Aragorn" and "Boromir" were Swordguy and Swordguy II. As I rewrote Swordguy to Chris, Swordguy II lost his 2. Swordguy's bro ended up as Swordguy II

One of the biggest differences I noticed between the book and movie is Faramir was alot more nicer to the Hobbits. Book nerds should be happy that Swordguy II didn't desired the cheap copper ring that came from a coin machine.

I recently added an entry on the 1st chapter that Swordguy's body was put on a boat and sailed upstream. Otherwise,  Swordguy II never learn of his bro's death.

Gardener having giant radish pulling powers was something that I came up as I was writing the sequel.

Hopefully it won't take a another decade to write another sequel to the copper ring saga.

The Two Apartments part 2

The three hunters help escort the people of Horsey Ranch to the stronghold. Magician took off his hat and pulled a white horse out his hat and hopped on. He told them that he plans to find the Head Rancher’s nephew and more reinforcements to help battle the coming army. The horse took him away.

After a few minutes traveling towards the stronghold, Beardguy was telling everyone about the women who lives in the caves. It seems the man get turned on by seeing woman with facial hair. Um..whatever their weird fetish is.

The cowgirl notice the necklace on Chris. She asked, “That is a purdy necklace, where did you git that thang?”

Chris replied, “Well after Kind Boy recovered in the hospital in Fort Smith and we all had a big meeting. A cute Star Trek fangirl handed me this necklace. She told me it's a good luck charm for my journey ahead.”

The cowgirl shoot a mean glare and mumble to herself. “That evil little dirty no good...”

All of a sudden, They were attacked by Lion Trainers riding on Lions. Dark Magician must have contacted the lion trainers from the circus to help.

The cowboys from the Ranch pushed off the trainers off with their rakes and hopped on the loins. They quickly settle them down and round them up.

Chris pulled out his toy lightsaber, Pretty Boy pulled out his shiny dart gun, and Beardguy pulled out his plastic toy ax. They finished off the Evil Lion Trainers. Once they were gone, they resume their journey heading North to Clinton.

Kind Boy, Gardener, and Mutant Fisherman wake up and notice that they were wrapped in ropes. The man who accused them of spies walked to them and asked "I don't think your spies but I asked, who are you?" Kind Boy told him that they are on a mission. Sent from Fort Smith to go Petit Jean Mountain to destroy a weapon that Evil Dude from Morrilton wants.

The man said, "The last I heard of my brother is that he said he was going to Fort Smith to discuss about something cheap jewelry." A light came from Kind Boy's head and asked, "Seeing we're near from Russellville. Is your brother's name Swordguy?"

He answered, "Yes, he is my brother. I'm am Swordguy II." He started to look sad, "Unfortunately the other day. I saw a boat on drifting upstream. Inside, was the dead body of my brother." He turn to the two short people, "Do you know what happen?"

Kind Boy told him, "Last I saw him, he wanted to wear this cheap copper ring, thinking it will look good on him. He forgot that this ring is a dangerous weapon made by Evil Dude that will cover Arkansas in darkness. After that, I split up from the others and haven't see him since."

Swordguy II looked down is sadness, "He must of confronted evil forces afterward and died." He changed his reaction to puzzlement, "Do I wondered why he wanted to wear something as plain and boring on his finger?"

Everyone arrived at the Stronghold near Clinton. All the farmers armed themselves with rakes, hoes, shovels. They heard got a knock the door. The Head Rancher open and saw his guests was some Vulcan Cosplayers. They say they will assist them in the coming battle.

Meanwhile in the forest close to Greenbrier. Trickster and Prankster watch as the Hippies group together. They were talking about how Evil Dude and Dark Magician be bringing chaos. One of them said, "Like dude, war is like, totally bad man. We shouldn't be involved."

The two short guys frown that the Hippies won't be helping them. One of them said, "But all of Arkansas is under threat." The Hippie they befriended said, "Sorry dudes, but they made their decision. It's not our war."

He told them he will drop them closest to their home. He asked which direction. Trickster said, "It's up Nort.." Prankster quickly interrupted him "It's at Conway." Prankster gave his friend from Hill Area a wink.

At the Stronghold, a loud horn was blow outside. The Head Rancher and the three from the former long name group look out and saw a hundreds of enemies coming. They were Evil Cave Dwellers, Genetically Engineered Neo-Red Coats, and Pirates that roam around in the Arkansas river.

The good guys pulled out their weapons and prepare for battle.

Trickster, Prankster, and the Hippy were close to Conway. When they got there, the Hippy was horrified on seeing trees getting cut down on the way. Prankster said, "Um yeah..Dark Magician is the guy runs this tree cutting service." The Hippie grew mad and said, "Totally unfair man. They are killing the planet. Maybe we should go to war." He ran back to get the others. Trickster looked at Prankster and said, "You set this up." Prankster gave an evil grin and said, "I did, my cousin actually works for the tree cutting service and I knew that would get the Hippies to help."

A few minutes passed since the Battle at the Stronghold started and the good guys won. The battle was a piece of cake and didn't suffer any casualties. There were a few evil survivors that ran like wimps from the battle once they quickly fell to the losing side.

These survivors try to flee uphill, but standing on top was Magician with reinforcements. He held up a giant glass sheet and put it in the sunlight. This causes the wimpy survivors to be blinded in that direction and they started running elsewhere.

They ran into nearby forest. Since they weren't paying attention where they were running in the forest, every single one of them manage to hit their heads on a tree. The impact causes every single one to die from head trauma.

Swordguy II showed the two from Hill Area around the city of Atkins when out of nowhere, a 20-foot tall bat was attacking the city. Gardener notice the man riding on top of it was one of the people dressed in Halloween gear who stabbed Kind Boy with a cursed butter knife. Swordguy II said, "He must be sniffing out the detergent out of ring."

Kind Boy all of a sudden wondered how cool he would look in plain and boring jewelry. Gardener grabbed him by both arms and shook him, telling him to snap out of it.

Gardener started pulling out a giant white radish out of the ground and threw at the creature. The flying monster scream in pain as Gardener pulled out more giant white radishes and continue throwing.

The monster has retreated. Kind Boy looked deeply into Gardener's eyes and put a hand on the side of his face and said, "Thank you for saving me. I didn't know about I do with.." All of a sudden, Mutant Fisherman pops up near them and said, "Are you guys going to kiss are something." The two look puzzled and disgusted. Kind Boy said, "Why would we do that, we're just simply best friends." Gardener added, "Besides, I got a girl back home."

With the city saved from the giant bat, Swordguy II wished them luck as they head south to the mountain. Unknown to the two short guys, Mutant Fisherman is planning to get his ring back.

Inside Conway, the Hippies has burned down Dark Magician's apartment down to the ground. They were shouting that they save the planet.

Well with the one of the two apartments is burnt down, there's no reason to continue the story if the title serves no purpose.

To Be Continued...

In Return of the Hero

Behind the scenes, facts, deleted material.

The Two Apartments part 1

The Friendship Of The Copper Ring That Came From A Coin Machine That Was Made From The Waters Of Petit Jean Mountain(TFOTCRTCFACMTWMFTWOPJM) has now split up. Magician has disappeared, Swordguy was killed, Trickster and Prankster were captured, Chris, Beardguy, and Pretty Boy were chasing Neo-Red Coats, and Kind Boy and Gardener went off on their own.

Kind Boy and Gardener were on their way to Petit Jean Mountain to throw the copper ring into the mountain’s waters. They made camp nearby Scott, AR.

That night, when out of nowhere, they were attacked by a weird impish looking guy. Gardener grab a butch of shoestrings that were tied together like a long rope. A gift he got from the Vulcan fans in Pine Bluff. He wrapped it around the imp guy’s neck. He screamed, “It smells! Too many smells of nasty shoes! Get it off me!”

Kind Boy aim his glow in the dark butter knife at his neck and said, “I release you if you promise you won't attack again.” The weird mutant nodded and the shoestrings were released.

They learn he’s been following them since they entered the Ozarks caves. He wanted his cheap copper ring that came from a coin machine back.

Kind Boy said, “Magician told me about a fishermen who killed his best friend for a piece of jewelry that only cost 50 cents. He had it for many centuries till Uncle Old Guy took it from him.”

Gardener said, “I guess after wearing the cheap jewelry for so long. The special type of detergent that the ring is made out has deformed him to his ugly appearance.”

Mutant Fisherman told them that he swears loyalty to the new welder of the copper ring. He will help by being their tour guide to Petit Jean Mountain.

Trickster and Prankster were captured by Genetically Engineered Neo-Red Coats and were they were heading to Dark Magician’s apartment in Conway. Chris, Beardguy, and Pretty Boy track them down. They followed them from Stuttgart to Bebee, from there, then they turned west.

On top of a hill, Pretty Boy sees them at a distance and said, "They are taking those short guys to Conway. They are taking those short guys to Conway. They are taking those short guys to Conway. Conway Conway." Chris walks up to him and smack him upside of his head. Pretty Boy said in pain, "Don't ruined my hair." Chris asked, "Why are you singing all of a sudden?"

Evil Cave Dwellers approach the Neo-Red Coats. They tell them they need to bring the two short guys to Evil Dude’s apartment in Morrilton while the Neo-Red Coats told them they need to bring them to Evil Magicain's apartment.

They haven't made their minds yet but continue walking and talking about many things. A Cave Dweller talks on how he saw a funny gif on the internet the other day.(Yes, they have internet inside caves) An angry Neo-Red Coat shoot a mean glare and said, “It’s pronounced Jif you idiot.” The cave dweller said, “Then why is it spelled Gif.”

Just then, they all start killing each other for the sake of a pronunciation of a word. They didn't pay attention to the two short guys as they were breaking free from their ropes. Trickster said, "Come on, let's get out of here." And so they left.

Meanwhile, Dark Magician was in his apartment room and pulled out his cell phone and made a call. He said, "Who now has the strength to stand against the armies of Conway and Morrilton. To stand against the might of Evil Dude and Dark Magician. Union of the Two Apartments. Together my lord Evil Dude, we shall rule all of Arkansas." Evil Dude replied, "That's nice and all but did you really have to make a speech like that just to call me?"

The three hunters known as Chris, Pretty Boy, and Beardguy trace the Neo-Red Coats' steps but when they got to the end, all they found the remains of a battlefield. They saw few men on horses standing there watching as well. The three approached them and one of the horseman said, "Howdy folks. When I already got here, they already killed themselves." Chris asked, "Who are you?" The horseman replied, "I'm from a farm not far from Greenbrier. Well Ah was till mah uncle kick me out. He been actin strange since he got sick shortly after he got that new helper fella from Conway."

Chris thinks about this and said to his allies, "It's possible that Dark Magician is involved somehow."

The three now plan to check out ranch and continued heading west.

Trickster and Prankster were in the middle of a forest after fleeing from the battle. They mention they got lost and don't know the way back to Hill Area.

Just then, they hear, "Like dudes, who are you?" They turn around and see a hippy in the middle of the woods. The two tell him of their tale and about the war coming to the land of Arkansas. He said, "Well I need to tell the other dudes in my committee about this thang." He got up and walk off. They started following him.

Kind Boy and Gardener traveled west from Scott and passed Little Rock. They headed north and stop at the Arkansas river. They got on a canoe to pass. Half way there, Kind Boy was so tired from all the traveling, he fell asleep and fell into the water. Gardener quickly pulled him out of the water. Kind Boy was in this "I'm awake, I'm awake" reaction. Gardener reached into his backpack and gave a Kind Boy a Pepsi Twist to help him wake up.

Kind Boy said, "I'm not a fan of lemon flavored drinks. They may discontinued these drinks in a year or two. Well anyways, thanks for the drink."

They pass the river and ended up between Conway and Morrilton. They started heading west towards Morrilton but the Mutant Fisherman said with worry in his face, "No, don't go to that city, Evil Dude lives in there." The two shrugged and decided to walked around the city of Morrilton.

The three hunters travel west to find the ranch that is possessed by Dark Magician. On the way, they see a guy in white clothes that resembles Dark Magician. Beardguy said as he pulled out his toy weapon, "I knew it, your messing up the ranch up ahead, aren't you." The mysterious man said, "I have nothing to do with that ranch."

He steps out of the sunlight and they can easily see who he is. It is...Magician.

Beardguy said, "But, But, you vanished?!" Magician replied, "Did you guys ever thought of look for a trapdoor? Seriously, why didn't you guys stay for a while to look for me?"

The three asked about the Pyro guy who also disappeared. Magician told them that he's in a straitjacket and some chains. He was mailed to Dark Magician's apartment.

Beardguy took a look at stage performer's new outfit and asked, "So did you use one of your magic powers to change the color of your clothing?" Magician gave him a sarcastic look and said, "It is, I used a special potion called bleach."

The four now head farther west. Magician told them don't worry about Trickster and Prankster because they are in the company of some friendly hippies. This came to a relief to the three others.

They arrived at Horsey Ranch's front gate. Several angry farmers appear to meet them. Magician told them, "We heard that the head of the ranch's birthday is later this weekend. I'm here to celebrate by putting on a magic show." The angry farmers scratch their heads and lift their arms up in confusion.

As they get inside the main household, they saw a mean looking butler nearby a sick looking man. The butler said, "We didn't welcome any guests?" One of the farmers said, "These fellas say it's the Head Rancher's birthday this weekend." Mean Butler told them, "You fools, his birthday won't be around for a few months."

Magician walks next to the butler's side and said, "Then we celebrate early." Soon a needle poke out of one side of his magic stick and he jabbed into Mean Buster's side. Magician whisper, "I take care of the guy while the needle paralyzing drug keep you still."

He walked over the sick man and take off his hat. Magician reach in and pulled out a warm bowl of chicken noodle soup. He feed it to the rancher and the color suddenly return to his face.

The head of the ranch got up and said angrily to the Mean Butler, "Get off of mah ranch you sorry sucka." And so, they threw him out. He landed on his head with his feet in the air.

The Head Rancher sat back down on his sofa. A young cowgirl walked by and give a quick hug to the man. She said, “Blessed my stars and stripes, glad you're back to your old self mah uncle. I knew that scoundrel was controlling you”

The Head Rancher said, “Ah can't believe that someone like Mean Butler was controlling me like that. Someone like this Dark Magician fella told us that Mean Butler would be a great help to mah place.”

Chris said, “I knew it. Dark Magician really was behind all this.”

Just then, some beaten and battered farmers enter the front door. They told us that Dark Magician has an army and started to burning down farms left and right.

The Head Rancher told everyone they need to grab all the people and all the horses and git out of this ranch. He said he knows a stronghold that will protect them that's nearby Clinton.

Meanwhile, the two short guys and mutant avoided Morrilton and plan to enter Petit Jean Mountain from Atkins.

On the way, they encounter a few men. One of them said, “Are you spies from Morrilton ” Before they could answered, they were knocked unconscious.

A history of Ninja Turtles fighting games and their love the obscured and unwanted characters.

Alot of Ninja Turtles material been out lately with the Mutant Mayhem game that's based on the IDW comics and the new Out of the Shadows movie that finally stars the fan favorites from the classic cartoon.

Over the years, Ninja Turtles had video games over the years. Most of them are classic beat' em ups. There were several fighting games over the years. I have notice that these games have a weird love for obscured or unwanted characters.

In 1993, Konami released three different fighting Turtles games on three different consoles. I going to start on the best game, the SNES version.

The game has the four Turtles, Shredder, and Ratking.

Yeah, they now have the ability to throw fireballs. Oh and Ratking is a heavy-weight wrestler.

Now here's the other characters.
This is Armaggon, a time traveling shark from the Archie comics. Your average fan wouldn't know this guy unless they had the certain set of comics that he starred in. He didn't make an appearance on TV/Movies till 20 years later in the recent show.

The alien bat, Wingnut. He's usually seen with Screwloose but his sidekick isn't in the game. Wingnut was a villain of the week in one episode. In the Archie comics, he was a recurring character that causes mischief. He is somewhat little more known than Armaggon.

The robot warrior, Chrome Dome.

He only appeared in two episodes. One was a night time special.

The evil demon, War.

He only appeared in a three issue crossover between TMNT and the Mutanimals. He was one of the four horseman. It's bad enough your obscured due to being a comic-only character but being part of a spinoff raises your obscureness.

The female ninja, Aska. Unlike the others, she's an original character. Well actually, she was meant to be an existing character.

Originally, she was Mitsu. The girl that Mikey had a crush on in the 3rd movie. A very odd choice to make a playable character. She wasn't a fan favorite like Tatsu, Tokka, or Razhar from the movie series.  The game changed it and Aska was made. She is way different than this movie character.

The final boss is Karai. Unless your only familiar with the original cartoon and movies, she isn't quite obscure in today's world. She appeared both the 2003 and 2012 shows as well as the 2007 film and recent movies as the Shredder's 2nd in command or his adopted daughter.

However, back in 1993. She wasn't in the cartoon or any of the Archie comics. She was in the Mirage comics. This was a comic made for grown ups and most kids wouldn't see this comics on the usual shelves they are looking for.

She was different from her other incarnations. She was more like Shredder's equal or superior and she was old enough to have a daughter. Doesn't sound like a young woman who serves under the Shredder. The fact the video game made a big deal out of her as the final boss shows it was more based on the Mirage comics at the time.

Now on to the NES version of Tournament Fighters.

It's not as fun as the SNES version. The characters are
the four Turtles, Casey Jones, Shredder, and Hothead.

The character on the left is Hothead, also known as Dragon Warrior. He appeared in several comics as the Turtles ally. He was a fireman that got a dragon spirit that helps him transform.

If you were in charge of making a TMNT fighting game and only had seven character slots, who would you use in the final slot? A lesser known character or and more well known one?

Now on to the Genesis version. This game is a broken mess and you can't beat single player unless you cheat.
Characters are the four Turtles, Casey, April(who now somehow piledrives people), Man Ray, and Sisyphus.

Man Ray was one of the turtles mutant allies in the comics who later got part of a team that had it's own spinoff.

Sisyphus is an original character. He is..umm..He's the Turtles ally and that's it. Aska at lease has a story that she wants to help her dojo.

That's it on the Tournament Fighters Trilogy. On on to Mutant Melee, a 3D fighting game based on the 1st two seasons of the 2003 series..

The characters are the Turtles, April, Casey, Shredder, Hun(Shredder's muscle man), and Traximus(a gladiator Triceraton). Those are the characters that would be excepted.

There is also a generic Foot Ninja. That be like playing an generic Stormtrooper and no, TR-8R don't count.

Here's more entries. Winter Outfit April, Winter Outfit Casey, Summer Outfit April (Quit Drooling Guys), Summer Outfit Casey (Quit Drooling Girls), Oroku Saki (Shredder unmasked), Teen Hun, Foot Tech Ninja (Foot with stealth tech), and Large Foot Ninja (Basically a ninja with a bouncer-like body).

These are not alternate costumes, they're character slots.

Oh and there's Gold Armor Shredder. However there was never a time in the 1st 2 seasons Shredder had Gold Armor. Basically this game is reminding me of the recent Mario Kart games. The closest we ever got to a gold armor Shredder was a member of the Ninja Tribunal that wore similar armor but they weren't seen till season 5.

There are two more characters and they are really really obscure. One guy is Sleeg, he was a alien that gave a tour of Triceraton prison's cafeteria for a few minutes in one episode. He's very forgettable and the only reason I remember him is the odd inclusion of him in the game.

The other obscure character is Monster. He was a from a horror movie Mikey was watching at a beginning of a episode for a few seconds. Weird choice to have a character from a fictional show within TMNT that you barely saw a little more than Baxter in the 2014 movie.

Now let's talk about TMNT Smash Up. The gameplay is based on Smash Bros. The game was made to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise. Like SNES Tournament Fighters, it's not based on one particular version of Ninja Turtles but a mix.

The characters are the Turtles, Splinter, Casey, April, Karai, and *sigh* generic Foot Ninja. They have their 2007 movie designs but have their 2003 series voices.

Unlike Mutant Melee, this game knows the difference between alternate costumes and selectable characters. Leo got a ninja outfit from that one episode he help Usagi in his homeworld. Don got his cyber outfit from the Back to the Sewers season. Mikey got a hip hop costume. Raph got a music punk outfit which is based on some cancelled Music Turtles toyline. Splinter got blue robes. Casey got his Back to the Sewers season appearance. April got her 2003 series appearance. Karai got a Gold Amazon Karai Bot from season 3. Foot Ninja got the Cyber Foot from Back to the Sewers season.

Shredder from the 2003 series is also in the game with his digital clone, Cyber Shredder from Back to the Sewers as an alternate costume.

Other playable characters is The Fugitoid, the Turtles' helpful peaceful cyborg friend.  Nightwatcher, Raph's alter ego from the 2007 movie who has a completely different moveset.

Now here is the characters no one really really wanted. 1st is the Utrominator. The developers say he is the game's version of Krang. Are you kidding me? Nobody wants to play a lame knockoff of Krang.

Well the Utrominator is sort of exist in TMNT. He was one of the utroms severing under the Shredder in the alternate timeline episode, Same As It Never Was. However, even he technically exists in TMNT, they made this character to be a knockoff of Krang.

Here's three others characters, Raving Rabbid, Splinter Rabbid(Dressed as the character from Splinter Cell), and Ninja Rabbid(Dressed like a Ninja Turtle). They are the mascots from gaming company's known as Ubisoft.

No Ninja Turtle fan wanted these guys.

That's all the characters, all 16 of them. Super Smash Bros Brawl had close to 40 which came out a few years before. Smash Up's gameplay got praised but what fans were greatly disappointed with the choice of characters. Nearly all the characters were from either the 2003 series or the 2007 movie with Back of the Sewers alternate costumes which was the most reason season at the time. Don't be looking for fan favorites from the old classic cartoon. The only connection to that series is a level with the Technodrome in the background, but that needs a cheat code to unlock.

The game is suppose to be a celebration of the 25 years of Ninja Turtles, yet it ignores the most popular version of them all. Even the title of the game was based on the classic cartoon's logo.

If it wanted to be an 2003 series only game, that be find but I would be complaining why those Rabbids took over spots for Hun, Bishop, or Baxter. If the SNES game was an anniversary special, did a better job of picking characters from different parts of the TMNT franchise.

Will we see anymore TMNT fighting games in the future? Who knows but it wouldn't surprise me on the odd choice of characters.
